Bruising is always a possibility with injectable treatments — even with the best technique and the most experienced injector. Every patient heals differently, and unfortunately, we can never guarantee that you won’t bruise.
📅 Have an important event coming up?
Please schedule your injectable appointment at least 2 weeks before weddings, photos, vacations, birthdays, or other special events. This gives your body adequate time for swelling and bruising to resolve.
A few ways to help minimize bruising:
• Follow all pre-treatment instructions carefully
• Avoid alcohol before your appointment
• Avoid non-medically necessary blood-thinning medications/supplements as outlined in your pre-care instructions
• Consider Arnica tablets as directed to help with bruising and recovery
• Give yourself plenty of healing time — don’t schedule injectables right before an event!
💌 And remember: we send your pre-care instructions multiple times.
You’ll receive them when you book, 7 days before your appointment, and again 2 days before your appointment. Please take a few minutes to read them before coming in — they’re there to help you have the best possible treatment and recovery.
