As we approach into the Christmas season, I want to announce that we are launching our 9th ANNUAL HIGH SCHOOL ANGEL TREE, for students in need. In the years past, all of you have been so gracious and giving and I am always humbled at your generosity.
I know the past few years have been difficult on you, and all of us, so just imagine the difficult times these young kids suffered through, not having anything to begin with. Therefore I am asking, once again, for all of us to pull together in order to give these teenagers in need a great Christmas. We have 40 kids this year! Come by and pick out an Angel from the tree or donate what you can! Thank you Everyone!

Our Angels have arrived to our tree and are ready to be picked up by kind and generous sponsors. You can come by the salon anytime during business hours to pick up a student to sponsor this holiday season!

Happy first snow! I hope everyone stays safe and warm today! Angel card writing at West Virginia Wesleyan has started today and will continue through this week. Card writing will be happening on the first floor of the Benedum Campus Center at WVWC on the following dates and times:

Tuesday: 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm
Wednesday: 12-2 pm & 3-5 pm (there will be a hot chocolate bar during this time!!)
Thursday: 11-1 pm
Friday: 12-3 pm

As the Christmas season is quickly approaching, Trumps Salon is getting ready for their 8th annual Angel Tree for high school students in need.

This year, over 40 students will need the support of generous donors so that they can experience the joy of a plentiful Christmas that they may not always get due to the difficult times they may have experienced.

So we are running a special drink to help support the Angel Tree this year!!

Starting tomorrow through December 16th each one that is bought we will donate $2 towards the Angel Tree, there will also be a donation jar by the register if you want to help out but don’t want coffee!!

I just wanted to update everyone that the card writing event will now be this Wednesday from 6-8 on the first floor of the Benedum Campus Center!

Happy Black Friday! I hope that everyone had a blessed Thanksgiving with their family. There are Angels on the tree at the salon, and Santa even stopped by for a special visit! If you have not yet picked up an Angel to sponsor this Christmas and are interested, please do not hesitate to drop by Trump Salon to learn more.

Also, there will be a special holiday event at West Virginia Wesleyan on Monday, November 27th from 6-8 pm on the first floor of the Benedum Campus Center to write cards for those children who are not able to be with us this holiday season who are in detention centers, and the WE LEAD Youth Security team at the college would be delighted to see you there! Even though those children cannot be with us physically this Christmas, they still need all the love and well wishes that they can get. Cards can also be written at the salon any time during their standard hours if you wish to send some kind words to a child in need.

Hello everyone!

As the Christmas season is quickly approaching, Trump Salon is getting ready for their 8th annual Angel Tree for high school students in need. This year, over 40 students will need the support of generous donors so that they can experience the joy of a plentiful Christmas that they may not always get due to the difficult times they may have experienced.

I am asking you to do your part this year to help your neighbors, the youth of Upshur County, during these cold months to ensure that they have what they need to not only survive but to thrive as they near adulthood. Please reach out to your churches, civic groups, scout groups, and other organizations that you know of and encourage them to become an Angel sponsor. Spread the news by printing out the attached brochure and distributing them to friends and family.

We will also be including our Angel Cards again this year for young adults in West Virginia who are in unfortunate incarcerated situations. These incarcerated teens are still kids in our communities and need our love and support just as much as the kids that we get to spend the season with. These cards may be one of the only bright spots in these kids' holiday seasons, so please stop by and write some if you are able.

The kids of our community are the future of our community, and we need to do our part to give them every opportunity and bit of kindness and love that we are able to give.

The window at Trump Salon may be decorated for autumn weather, but starting this week, they will begin “decking the halls” for the upcoming holiday season.

For the 8th year in a row, Trump Salon will be doing their Angel Tree for Upshur County high school students in need. Along with the Angel Tree, we are also hoping that cards could be made for youth in detention centers that do not get to experience any Christmas festivities due to their circumstances.

Make sure to keep an eye out during the next couple of weeks for the Angel Tree. Stop by Trump Salon to do your part in helping the youth in our county and state experience the magic of Christmas!
