My friend captured my pregnancy as it naturally occurs. Under the sky, feet to soil, fire in the belly. Unmasked. Unclothed. Unapologetic.

Someone reported it, and IG threatened to shut down her account. Is the miracle of life offensive to some? Have we come so far from knowing how we arrived on this planet? Pregnancy doesn’t look or feel like sweat pants. It is not comfortable and it’s not haphazard . It is riddled with physical and emotional growing pains. It is embracing uncertainty with primal abandon. And yet it is remarkable and breathtaking.
And it should be exalted. It is life.
And should it be forgotten, we each came from a woman, a warrior full of love. From skin and bones.

To all my Mrs. of 2018, thank you so much for the honor to be by your side on your wedding day. 2018 was a huge year for Yömakeup and I feel incredibly blessed to have spent it with all of you. Sunday marked my final 2018 wedding.
