To My Mother

How can I find the words to let you know how much I care?
To thank you mom, for all you have done, for always being there.
Walking with me all through life, through the joy and through the laughter, through the pain and through the sorrow.
You were the best I could have hoped for, and with gratitude I see,
The sweet lifetime of devotion you invested here in me.

I am proud that you were my mother
I have been deeply blessed
It is true, no matter the life we had growing up and no matter the life you chose to live.

A mother's love is something that no one can explain
It is made of deep devotion, great pain and sacrifice.
It is endless and unselfish, it is patient and forgiving, it believes beyond believing, it is far beyond defining, it defies all explanation, it is unconditional upon her own, it is an everlasting love.

Mother, seeing you the way I saw you, it gave me deep sorrow but I have found some comfort now knowing that I was there with you, loving you and caring for you letting you know you that were not alone.

I know now that you are no longer suffering and no longer in pain and I have found peace in that thought.

I love you more than anything but,
I know I could never love you more than you loved me...
Until we meet again, I will keep deeply in my heart all those things that you taught me and as I've said before and forever more I love you and I always will, until I see you again.
