I dread posting stuff like this. I wish I was posting about happy new year & new stuff instead…
During the few quiet weeks after the holiday rush, I finally sat down to do my annual audit of the business. The fact of it is the cost of running a brick and mortar store keeps going up. So I have to make the numbers make sense.
Your minimum spend to get free shipping went up as one of the ways to balance the numbers 😟
As always, the team and I thank you for your support and understanding 🫶🏼

Tyler’s parents came into the store asking if I have seen him and they have gone into many businesses on the Elmwood strip asking the same thing. Please call 911 if you see him

To me the two are inextricably linked.
Can we really care about our individual wellness without caring about the wellness of the environment in which we exist?
What do you think 🤔💭
I don’t have much to say about my business right now since small retail is moving at crawling speed in January. I think everyone is busy hibernating so what a great time to pick up and make a big pot of comfort food!!!
Pick it up at the or get it delivered to your door.
In case you want to know how I make meat balls, here’s the recipe:
Approximately 1lb of Ground beef from
Few cloves of minced garlic
Handful of minced onions, parsley & pecorino cheese
An egg or two with enough Italian breadcrumbs to neutralize the slime from the egg
A pinch of salt with a few pinches of black pepper
Hand mix all ingredients well and roll them into 1.5” balls. Fry them on oiled pan on medium-high heat until outer layer is golden crispy, do not cook thoroughly(leave inside raw). Transfer them to red sauce and slow simmer for at least 20 min
