While it’s always fun to meet new faces…all of my clients that have been with me for an awhile now…I am so grateful for you! There’s many moments that I’m constantly thinking this but I realized I don’t say it enough so while we’re entering the season of gratitude:

This isn’t a new milestone, but it’s one that still means a lot to me

Back in 2023, I became an Invisible Bead Extensions® Elite Artist…something I only shared bits and pieces of, mostly because I just love learning. I’ve always been curious about the why behind things and how I can make myself better…how to make extensions softer, blend better, and keep your natural hair as healthy as possible.

For me, education isn’t just about collecting titles and certifications it’s about staying inspired and finding new ways to create better results and a better experience for my guests

If you had told me that 10 years ago I’d be where I am now I don’t think I’d have believed it was possible

There’s a big part of my life story that I don’t talk about often in my professional life because who I am now is very different from who I was back then. I know that people who have had friends or family members that have struggled with addictions have been through so much trauma and I never wanted to bring any uncomfortability to their appointment.

But today is too big for me to not celebrate and share with everyone. Today I have 10 YEARS in recovery 🫶🏻🎉

I didn’t get here on my own or without the help from so many others. It took a lot of help for me to get better and then once I found the ability to put that drive towards positive things life has truly become beyond my wildest dreams.

I was in and out of jails and institutions for too long before finally having that aha moment. I couldn’t be more grateful for holding on to that little bit of hope and determination. When I think of the long road from where I was to now it feels like so much of it was an alternate life.

I also just want to share my own journey of hope, that if you or someone you know and love is struggling it’s possible to change. I went from being a he**in addict to the person you see now, I couldn’t stop using or stay out of jail. I have lost many friends on this journey and it has been so sad to see but I couldn’t be more grateful that I got to get better and live. Getting clean and starting a life of recovery is hardest but best thing that could have ever happened to me.

While I’m beyond proud of the life I’ve been able to build the last 10 years I’m even more excited to see what beautiful possibilities the future holds. I’m so grateful for all of the people that are part of my life because I wouldn’t be where I am without the encouragement and support of so many others.

I’m especially grateful for my husband who reminded me recently: who would have ever known that us two sitting in a window would end up where we are now with such a beautiful life together, I’m so glad our individual journeys happened the way they did and we get to walk through life together now 🤍

Every year for our wedding anniversary I always rewatch the short video we had done and scroll all our photos and have the hardest time picking out which ones to use or pick

Our wedding day has been one of the best days of my life and it’s crazy to think it’s been 6 years now. Anytime any one of you tells me you’re getting married soon I still get so excited because this was the happiest day of my life.

My favorite advice to give that someone told me:
make sure you stop throughout the day to just look around and take it all in. Create those micro moments to observe and enjoy all the planning it took! It kept the day from passing by too quickly for me!

Also the funniest picture in to me: when we’re getting married and that little tissue square…we kept passing it back and forth through our hands to dry our tears through the ceremony 😆

I love getting to be such a big part of all of your lives so I wanted to share some of mine! If you’re already married I hope you had the best day ever like I did and if you’re on your way to getting married buckle up for the happiest day of your life!

I felt so incredibly beautiful on this day and am so grateful for it! We almost didn’t even get the video done but I was so happy we did! Thank goodness for being able to split it up so I can share it with all of you now too!
