I really don't have the words to describe what I'm feeling right now.
Pennae was my mentor...my auntie...my sister and my friend. She raised me in the hair game...I met Pennae in 2000...26 years ago...I had the pleasure of being on the Salon Pennae Artistic Design Team on Wesley Chapel and Flat Shoals in Decatur, Ga and it was the absolute time of my life...in some of these pics we were in Dallas with Tracci Johnson and Karl Reed doing the Tracci Johnson Celebrtiy Finishing Cutting Class promoting the Signature Shine Oil...some pics are before and after pics of a magazine photoshoot. Pennae was gon make sure we had something productive to do. And your hair and makeup had to be done before you walked through those doors. She didnt play AT ALL. Tough love is the best love. It helped me throughout my entire hair career...her voice...I have so many Auntie stories its just not enough room to write. I'm sending my condolences to the Cofield family and may the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob bring you peace.💕 Thankyou Pennae Akpuru Rest in Heaven
