I had the honor of doing makeup for a client who quickly became so much more than that. She was an extraordinary personβsomeone who exceeded expectations far beyond what anyone could imagine, especially in the face of challenges that were never hers to carry. At the time, I never could have known that my passion for makeup (and that we had the same stylist) would be the very thing that brought our paths together.
Being a part of the happiest day of her life was a privilege I will always hold close to my heart. Later, discovering that I was included in parts of her documentary felt surreal and deeply humblingβa reminder of how meaningful even small moments can be. To now learn of her passing is absolutely heartbreaking. Words truly cannot express the depth of this loss or the impact she had on everyone who knew her.
She was, and always will be, an incredible individualβfull of strength, grace, and light. I am forever grateful to have known her, even for a moment, and to have played a small role in her story. She will be deeply missed and never forgottenβ€οΈ
