Y’all know I’m a jeans, T-shirt & ball cap kinda girl most days. 🤠

Don’t get me wrong, I love getting all dolled up, but most days you’ll catch me in a good pair of jeans, a comfy tee, and a ball cap covering whatever the hell my hair decided to do that morning. 😂

And I’m pretty darn picky about my T-shirts! Give me 100% cotton, good quality, and a little personality. No cheap, flimsy, polyester nonsense over here!

Here’s a few of my current favorites, along with some pretty badass hats we’ve got hanging around the shop.

Fringe, leather, funky details, statement pieces… basically all the things I love. A little Western, a little wild, a little sexy and definitely NOT boring.

I get asked ALL the time what half of this stuff is, what I use it for, and why on earth I have it in my shop… so I figured I’d show you.

PrairieSiren is a little different from your typical skincare shop. I’m fascinated by old-world ingredients, botanicals, minerals, resins, oils and traditional ways of making things — and I love learning why people used them long before everything came in a plastic bottle with 47 ingredients.

Some of these things end up in my tallow products. Some become soaps, bath products, perfumes or other concoctions. And some are here simply because I’m obsessed with weird, beautiful, useful things. 😂

So yes, this video is a little longer than my usual ones — but consider it a 5-minute tour through the weird little world inside PrairieSiren.

PrairieSiren FUR BROKER NOW. 🤠

Well… this escalated. 😂

Apparently PrairieSiren is also a fur broker now, because somehow my shop has turned into a full-blown collection of gorgeous hides and pelts.

We’ve got lynx, bobcat, mountain lion, wolf, coyote, red fox, Arctic fox, beaver, mink, muskrat, skunk and more.

Some are beautiful.
Some are wild.
Some are a little weird.
And naturally, I love all of them.

WHY BLUE TANSY? 💙

If you’ve ever wondered what makes our Blue Tansy Face & Body Whip so special… here she is.

I’m a little obsessed with knowing exactly what goes into the skincare I make—from the suet tallow I choose, to the way I render it, to the ingredients I blend into every batch.

And Blue Tansy is one of my favorites.

Every jar you see in this video was made, whipped, piped and labeled by hand right here in Buffalo, Wyoming. No assembly line. No giant factory. Just small-batch skincare made the old-fashioned way—with really beautiful ingredients and a whole lot of care.

And can we talk about that naturally gorgeous Blue Tansy color? 💙
