Hello 👋🏻 everyone. After finalizing a few things, I am finally ready to announce that as of Tuesday, March 26th, Twisted Shear will be “closing.”

Running a business has been quite the experience, but I am ready to put my focus back on what started me on this career path in the first place.
I'm excited to move forward as an artist, focusing on my passion for education and growth while working closely with clients.

I have been given the opportunity to join the team at Salon 124 Hamilton Mill, which is a company I spent the better part of my early hairdressing years with. It honestly feels like I’m coming home, and I can not wait! Salon 124 is known for its quality, continuing education, and stunning salon environment.

Question 🙋🏼‍♀️ What in the witchery TikTok are y’all using on your hair? NO SHAME! I’m genuinely asking! Other than professional hair product, have you tried anything that you’ve seen online and LOVED IT? I need to know. Thanks lovies 💕💁🏼‍♀️

My number one concern is the health of the hair and we didn’t always have Olaplex and K18. 😬

Happy Thanksgiving 🦃 week peeps! I have decided to slowly enter the land of the living at work. I’ll be staggering my work days, and ONLY doing 2-4 clients a day. I’ve tried to keep track of who I’ve talked too, and who I haven’t, but that never works. 😅 shoot me a message/text if you haven’t been taken care of for the upcoming holiday season! 🎄

Good morning ☀️ Most of you have heard about my shoulder injury. This is the best way for me to get the info out there.
According to my MRI results yesterday, I have a high grade partial tear in my right rotator cuff, along with a mild labrum tear. Combine that with mild bursitis and moderate tendinosis, really wish spell check would help me out with that, 🙄, and I have done a number on myself.
I am following up with an orthopedic on Tuesday to get a treatment plan. I will be taking the next few weeks off to rest, treat, and hopefully rehab/heal this injury. I am avoiding surgery like the plague, and I have my reasons for doing so.
If you have an appointment with me in the coming weeks, contact me directly, I have some wonderful stylists who have already stepped up to help get everyone looking lovely! At this time, I don’t have a return date, I’ve already pushed myself too hard over the past month, and it’s time to take a pause and heal.

Happy Freakin’ Monday peeps.

Doin’ what I do, I let a shoulder injury go waaaay past the point of needing to be looked at. So, today, I finally went to see an orthopedic. The bad news is I have, what they believe, is a partial tear in my right rotator cuff.
The good news is with some rest and physical therapy I should be good to go in a few months.

I’ve been ordered to get off my shoulder for two weeks, so I will be contacting all of my appointments in the next two weeks to reschedule or I’ll be happy to refer you to someone if you are in need of services right away. 😁

Good morning peeps ☀️🤩 Most of you already know I have moved locations. Haute Air Blow Dry Bar is my new home, but the FB people will not let me change my name on my business page at the moment sooooooo….boo.
Anywho, just a heads up to anyone who has an appointment with me next week, I am in the process of buying a new home, and in order for us to close we have A LOT to do. I will reach out to everyone individually very soon because I do need to shuffle some appointments around to accommodate the preparation for the house. We have an appraisal, two inspections, and the actual close itself so I need to be present for all of it.
I need a clone. 🙄
