CANCELLATION POLICY✨ Effective Immediately

As the business owner at Pretty in Pink Salon I would like to take a quick moment to address the cancellation policy.

Cancellation fees aren’t personal and they are not a punishment. They’re protection for income and the sustainability for the business.
It is what sets a professional business apart from a “hobby”. We don’t just stand and play with hair & Nails all day this is our JOB, our WAGES, our LIVING.

All of the Technicians & stylists are self-employed. Your appointment is their guaranteed income. We have no set salary, hence why we work alot more hours than others and are flexible to suit you, to guarantee ourselves an income.

We understand that sometimes life gets in the way - sickness, emergencies, hospital appointments, etc., but please remember we are an appointment only based small business.
When you book a service with your stylist/beautician that timeslot is booked EXCLUSIVELY for you and a last-minute cancellation or no-show means no income for us and an appointment someone else could have had that would attend.
That also means hours sat wasted as it’s too short notice to contact anyone else, no income for our bills, no food on the table, no wages to run our car to get to work.

To put this into perspective, this would be like you going to work and being told you’re not going to earn your first three hours wages despite turning up for work so PLEASE respect our time as we do yours.

We are always as fair and understanding as can be but we hope by explaining this in more detail you understand our need to have a cancellation policy, as do most salons.
