Snow Day Makeup. Today I played with colors I normally NEVER wear! I was pleasantly surprised. I used the newest Vivid Pallet to get the rich blue shadow and blue waterproof liner on lower waterline. I love this look!

Alright folks, here's an honest, raw post. About a year ago I started experiencing hair loss. It was intermittent at the time but became pretty regular over the summer. I've had some other symptoms including extreme fatigue (which I chalked up to mom life and being busy) and some blood work indicating auto immune disorders... which I'm in the long process of trying to figure out. I've lost A LOT of my hair over the last several months so to try to combat that, I've tried switching hair products and taking collagen and biotin supplements. Collagen does great in making my hair and nails healthier...BUT it wreaks havok on my skin! Biotin is the same. Many vitamins like vitamin C have caused similar reactions. My skin on my face, neck, and back break out pretty bad. When I stop taking them, it clears up. I began taking a different type of collagen recently in hopes that my skin would handle it differently, with no such luck. I stuck with it longer thinking if I gave it enough time for my body to get used to it, my system may Balance out. It didn't. 3 days ago I quit taking it again and while I have not had new breakouts, I now begin healing my poor skin.

Luckily through all this, I have AMAZING makeup! Would you believe me if I told you I was able to cover up my breakouts with only CC Cream and set it with powder? No concealer AT ALL! My color correcting cream contains skincare and goes on in a very thin Layer to give me a FULL coverage effect without caking lots of layers on. It really helps my skin be able to breath and gives me a little confidence while I go through this. Would you believe me if I told you this Phenomenal product (CC Cream) is under $20!? Many of the great products I use are.

I hesitated posting this...because I look rough and it makes me vulnerable. But I wanted to share my experience. We aren't always perfect. I have flaws. If you're struggling with similar things, reach out to me! I can help show you some amazing products to lift your spirits!
