With the anger and hatred being directed at my people…all I can do is find some words of love to give us hope. These words are our weapons. This hatred should not be taken personally. It is not about us and we can not control it.

After 25+++ years of doing hair I have never witnessed so many Humans being inspired to embrace themselves exactly as they are at this moment in time.

growing out your gray is definitely a time sensitive issue. Some people get their first gray hair at 24 like I did, but at 46 I am NOWHERE CLOSE to embracing those grays.

Perhaps it’s because there was a global pandemic and it made us realize that life is short and there are no guarantees as to how long we have here? Or maybe it is because people are questioning their priorities and hanging out at the salon does not align with their new normal…no that’s rediculous, hanging out with your stylist is truly the highlight of everyone’s lives.

It is not just one or the other. You can have it all. 🧑🏻‍🦳 vs. 🙅🏻‍♀️ = 🔮🦄

It is easy for a talented hairdresser to use all their tricks and tools to make your hair look fantastic when you are in their chair.

But the real magic is when we see a post like this…

where the client did their own hair & you can see that look, that confidence, like they are FEELING themselves!!!
It’s an indescribable feeling of pride.

Seeing a post of that beautiful color and cut that we worked so hard on, and gave so much of ourselves that we worked straight through our “lunch break” (although we all know hairstylists never take breaks), stained our fingernails and blouse with hair dye, and ended up running 20 minutes late for our next client because it HAD TO BE PERFECT!

This makes it all worth it.

Tape In Extensions for the win! These type of extensions are best for making hair look and feel thicker. Also fantastic for adding colors that you may be a tad afraid of committing to (think pink, purple, blue or platinum blonde). Takes about 30-45 min to put them in and they can stay in for 8-10 weeks. After that they just need to be removed and moved back on up to the root again. These beauties can be used over and over and over (6-9 months).
If you treat them with love and compassion, they will love you right back.

You don’t have to look like The Real Housewives of Dubai with 46 inch extentions in your hair…think of them like your subtle little secret that makes you feel just a little more confident.

2021 was a lot…to say the least but we made it folks!

As we all know, you are no good to anyone if you don’t take care of yourself. A fresh cut and color magically makes you feel like less of an overwhelmed sloth who is chasing their own tail (not sure if a sloth has a tail but you get it)!

This beautiful brunette is a perfect example that hilites are not just for blonde’s. added some depth to this beauties naturally deep dark hair. Minimal upkeep and no damage (thanks to which is our new favorite potion). Then a crisp cut and relaxed curls….🤎💯👩🏽.
