During our mentorship Tech Talk, new estheticians join us to discuss how to create a positive, professional impression the moment a client walks through the door. In our industry, confidence, warmth, and professionalism set the tone for the entire service experience.⁣

Here are 4 tips to make those first 30 seconds powerful:⁣

1️⃣ Professional Appearance⁣
Dress polished, clean, and aligned with your brand. Neat hair, fresh breath, clean nails, and a pressed uniform instantly communicate credibility and care.⁣

2️⃣ Confident Body Language⁣
Stand tall, smile genuinely, and maintain eye contact. A warm posture and calm presence help clients feel safe and welcomed.⁣

3️⃣ A Clear & Warm Introduction⁣
“Hi, I’m [Your Name], I’ll be taking care of you today.”⁣
Say it with enthusiasm and clarity. A confident introduction builds trust immediately.⁣

4️⃣ Active Listening from the Start⁣
Ask an open-ended question like, “What brings you in today?” and truly listen. Clients feel valued when they feel heard.⁣

If you are a new esthetician, massage therapist or body contour technician located in or around Burbank California and are craving community please join us on Monday or Tuesdays.⁣
⁣
Participants support one another, learn tips and strategies regarding skillset and career opportunities. You can also have access to space for practice. Most meet ups will be 2-3 hours and free of charge.⁣
