We don’t always get to choose the storm — but we always choose how we rise.
Ola has never stood still.

We began in West Seattle — and stayed there for 15 beautiful, formative years.
That’s where we grew up.
Where we learned.
Where we built the foundation.

In 2017, we opened Burien.
A new chapter.
A bigger vision.
More room for the tribe to grow.

And most recently, we moved again — to downtown Burien.
Not because we planned to.
But because sometimes life redirects you in ways you don’t expect.

Here’s what I know after 21 years:

Every time we’ve had to leap…
we’ve landed somewhere better.

Call it resilience.
Call it timing.
Call it angels watching over us.

Ola has evolved.
The walls have changed.
The address has changed.

But the heart never has.

Still here.
Still becoming.

21 years. AI got pretty close… except the real story is even better.

Sometimes I sit back and think… how did this little dream turn into this whole universe?

Being the owner of a salon has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Not because of the titles. Not because of the money. Not even because of the success.

Because of the people.

I’ve had the honor of watching artists walk in unsure and walk out powerful. I’ve seen assistants become artists. Artists become leaders. Leaders become business owners. I’ve watched friendships form, babies be born, marriages happen, heartbreaks healed, confidence restored one appointment at a time.

This place has never just been about hair.
It’s been about growth. Evolution. Risk. Reinvention.

And the most beautiful part?
I didn’t build it alone.

Every client, every stylist, every late night, every lesson — you all helped shape this dream into something real.

21 years of relationships.
21 years of courage.
21 years of love and magic.

Owning a salon wasn’t just a career choice.
It was a dream come true.

For years, we took part in an annual fashion show supporting Northwest Hope & Healing—an organization that walks alongside women navigating breast cancer with strength, dignity, and care.

Being part of something that supports so many women during such a vulnerable chapter is a true honor for our team.
