🧪 Well Water vs. Clean Hair

First photo:
We colored her hair like normal, but she has well water. Well water contains minerals and metals that slowly build up inside your hair. When color or lightener hits that buildup, it can cause a chemical reaction. That’s what turned her hair yellow and brassy. The color didn’t fail. The hair wasn’t clean on the inside.

Second photo:
We colored it again, but this time we used Metal Detox first. That removes the metal and mineral buildup so the color can work the way it’s supposed to.

Same hair. Same person. Completely different result.

If you have well water and your color doesnt turn out right, fades weird, or goes brassy fast, this is probably why.
Your hair has to be clean on the inside before color can look right on the outside.

Every time I do her hair I put in the work but I wouldn’t have it any other way for one of my favorite clients ❤️
