Another reminder for anyone working to build their blood. 🌿❤️

Herbs can support your body, but herbs alone cannot build healthy blood.

You have to feed your body what it needs.

That means eating meals rich in iron and pairing them with foods high in vitamin C to help your body absorb that iron.

One of the easiest changes you can make is in your kitchen.

Start adding mineral-rich herbs like Nettle,Alfalfa, and Fennel use them the same way you would your favorite Italian seasonings. Herbs are food, and food is medicine.

Low iron and anemia are serious conditions. Left unaddressed, they can affect your energy, immune system, heart, brain, and even contribute to excessive hair shedding.

Stop ignoring your body. Take back control of your health, one meal at a time. 💜

Minerals matter more than people realize.

Iron, magnesium, calcium, potassium, zinc, selenium, and other trace minerals are involved in nearly every function of the body. Energy production. Oxygen transport. Hormone balance. Nervous system function. Tissue repair.

1. Iron carries oxygen to every cell in the body. When iron stores are low, you may experience fatigue, brain fog, dizziness, cold hands and feet, poor concentration, brittle nails, excessive shedding, and shortness of breath.

2. Severe, long-term iron deficiency can place additional strain on the heart because the body must work harder to deliver oxygen to tissues.

3. Heavy menstrual bleeding is one of the most common reasons women become iron deficient in the first place.

4. Minerals can’t be destroyed by cooking, but they could be lost in cooking water and are often removed during food processing.

5. Tea, coffee, soda, excess calcium, antacids, and certain compounds found in grains and legumes can reduce iron absorption.

6. Vitamin C-rich foods help improve the absorption of plant-based iron.

7. Cooking in cast iron cookware can naturally increase the iron content of certain foods, especially acidic foods like tomato sauces.

Some of my favorite mineral-rich foods include:

🌱 Dark leafy greens
🌱 Lentils and beans
🌱 Whole grains
🌱 Nuts and seeds
🌱 Blackstrap molasses
🌱 Dried fruits
🌱 Sea vegetables
🌱 Fresh fruits and vegetables

Your energy levels, hormones, blood health, skin, nails, and hair all depend on adequate mineral intake.

Yall God is doing a thing….

I having been saying that I am no longer tied to any one identity or timeline. That I allow God to move in my life to see the abundance and absolute miracles and joy.

So I’m sharing all things I’m implementing in my daughter’s diet to change the outcome.

I’m not a medical professional and I’m not claiming to heal or cure anyone from anything. My role is to encourage you to be in control of your own healing and share with you the things that I have learned.

Look for new videos on how to build blood and if you have any questions let’s discuss them below.

Full consultations do require payment because customized formulations take time and verification but general information can be shared so that you can do your own research.

After a braid installation, my client’s hair density had noticeably decreased and her edges needed some extra support.

So we slowed down. I started with a customized herbal treatment formulated specifically for what her scalp and hair needed in this season, followed by a deep cleanse and steam treatment to restore moisture and softness.

Healing your hair isn’t about finding the perfect product.

It’s about having a plan and being consistent enough to follow it.

Appointment after appointment, adjustment after adjustment. That’s how real progress happens.

Today was about giving her crown what it needed so we can continue moving in the right direction.

If you’re not sure where to start, that’s okay. That’s what I’m here for. 💜

We listen… and we don’t judge. 👀💜

That bald spot.
That thinning edge.
That buildup you’ve been ignoring.
That protective style that’s been in a little too long.

Nothing can be addressed until it’s acknowledged.

Sometimes the reset is physical.
Sometimes it’s emotional.
Sometimes your crown is carrying more than just hair.

The good news it that it’s usually not as bad as you think.

My job isn’t to judge you. It’s to assess what’s happening, support your goals, and create a plan to get your crown back on track.

✨ Clarity over shame.
✨ Solutions over stress.
✨ Progress over perfection.

If your crown has been trying to get your attention, consider this your sign.

Today’s crown care started in the garden. 🌿💜

One of the beautiful things about studying herbalism is realizing that healthy hair is rarely just about the hair.

For this blend, I prepared a medicinal tea featuring:

🌿 Skullcap – traditionally used to support the nervous system, ease tension, promote relaxation, and help the body navigate periods of stress.

🌿 Marjoram – known for its calming properties, digestive support, and ability to encourage healthy circulation throughout the body.

🌿 Thyme – rich in antioxidants and traditionally used to support respiratory health, immune function, and overall vitality.

As a holistic hair care practitioner and herbalist in training, I often look beyond the strands themselves. The body operates as an interconnected system, and what shows up in the hair is often influenced by what is happening internally.

That’s why my clients quickly learn that their appointment is usually about more than a style. It’s about creating a plan that supports the whole person.

Because when the body is supported, the scalp responds. When the scalp is supported, healthy hair has the opportunity to thrive.

Your crown is connected to more than you think.
