I often get the question “Does cutting my hair really help it grow?”

Yes and No. I’ll fill you in on what happens when you get a haircut.

Let’s say you find some of those dreaded spit ends at the end of your hair, if you cut them it stops it in its tracks. If you let them go, those split ends travel up the hair shift making your hair look finer and sometimes almost broom like on the ends. Or, even snap the ends right off.

Have you ever said to yourself “My hair never grows past this length” or “It gets so scraggly on the ends” ?

That’s most likely because you need to get a trim every 8-12 weeks to stop split ends!
