Not because I always feel like it… but because I’m learning that growth lives in the things we keep trying to avoid.
We have to start attacking the things we’re scared of. Attack the things we don’t want to do. Attack the excuses, the fear, the doubt, and that voice telling us, “Maybe tomorrow.”
I’m not running from the hard things anymore… I’m running straight at them.
Every step is discipline. Every mile is a mental battle won. Every day I show up, I’m becoming stronger in my mind, body, and spirit.
The goal isn’t to be comfortable. The goal is to become the person God is calling me to be.

Today, I celebrate two years since opening the doors of The Razor Lounge here in Burlington, NC, and my heart is full of nothing but gratitude.
First and foremost, I have to thank GOD. 🙏🏾 There were moments when I didn’t know how everything would work out, but God continued to make a way. He gave me the vision, the strength to keep going, and the faith to trust the journey even when I couldn’t see the whole picture.
To every client who has sat in my chair, booked an appointment, walked through my doors, shared a post, told someone about The Razor Lounge, or simply spoke a word of encouragement — THANK YOU! You are more than clients. You are a part of this journey and a part of The Razor Lounge family.
Two years later, I’m reminded that success isn’t always about how fast you grow. Sometimes it’s about having the faith to stay planted, remain consistent, and keep showing up for the vision God gave you.
The Razor Lounge is more than a barbershop. It’s a vision. It’s a place of conversation, connection, and community. It’s a place where we sharpen more than appearances — we sharpen minds. 💈👑
I’m grateful for how far God has brought me, I’m thankful for everyone who has supported me, and I’m excited about where He’s taking me next.
