Pixie/Bixie Model Needed This Sunday ✂️

Hi every one!

We’re looking for a pixie or bixie haircut model this Sunday at 1:30/2:00 PM at Talmo Hair Co Burlington.

We’re ideally looking for someone who doesn’t already have a pixie that simply needs maintenance. We’d love a model with enough hair that we can really start from scratch and create a new pixie or bixie shape.

This will be an educational opportunity for the Talmo Hair Co staff to observe and learn new techniques for perfecting these cut's. Because this is a teaching session, you’ll need to be comfortable with being observed during your haircut.

Please plan for the process to take approximately an hour and a half.

Bob model wanted for a class for the Talmo staff next Sunday. We would love to show some graduation in the back of the cut, much like these pics. We will like if someone doesn't already have a bob so we can start from scratch. Dana would be doing the cut and it is of course complimentary! The lighting in my shop always looks so warm! I would have loved to take these photos outside. I love the shadow root... it makes the grow out so nice! Also we used Goldwell Elumen for the ends which really sticks to the hair and fades beautifully. I love doing color that requires multiple steps and gets the gears crankin! 🤩

This was honestly the most insane color correction of my career. It took us 5 hours to get here but it happened! The last pic is of Colly's hair when it was freshly done before we did the blonde and yellow. The red and blue faded but was pretty strong when we started the process of going to blonde... I wish I had an actual before pic from the day of! Thank you Colly for spending all of those hours in my chair.

Color on my new friend Colorado 🏔️ such a fun way to spend the morning!

Indoor vs outdoor on ! We did this a little bit ago but I loved how the stormy sky accented the blues in her hair. It's crazy how different color can appear in the salon vs natural light. Amber has been coming to me for years and I get excited to work on a new project every time!

Fun times with . This color is incredibly permanent and incredibly vibrant. We love using our toolboxes and palettes to create new color combos and cuts. It's what makes our career exciting and def scratches the creativity itch. Not to mention the rewarding feeling of making someone else happy 🎉😃

Free gender affirming cuts July 19th BURLINGTON 🌈

In support of our LGBTQ+ community, Talmo Hair Co will be offering free gender affirming haircuts on July 19th at the Burlington salon location.
These appointments are intended to provide a safe, welcoming space for anyone seeking a haircut that helps them feel more like themselves. Kids and youth will be prioritized when scheduling.
Appointments are limited and advance booking is encouraged. Please reach out to reserve a spot or share with someone who may benefit.
