Ashley Stagner is a Burlington, Vermont based printmaker and instructor whose work centers on relief and intaglio processes. She teaches Design & Illustration at Burlington Technical Center and printmaking at the Burlington City Arts Studios. With a background in English literature and studio art from Hamilton College and ongoing MFA studies at the Vermont College of Fine Arts for Visual Art, she brings a narrative sensitivity to her exploration of portraiture, identity, and gender.

Stagner’s work has been exhibited nationally, with recent showings at SEABA's Art Hop, Westwood Gallery, CalArts Gallery, and 4 Elements Gallery. The pieces on view at The Men’s Room are drawn from her ongoing Cowboy series, which reimagines and interrogates the mythology of the American cowboy through a contemporary, deeply personal lens.
