• 𝕌𝕤𝕖 𝕒 ℙ𝕣𝕠𝕗𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕒𝕝 𝔾𝕣𝕒𝕕𝕖 ℙ𝕦𝕣𝕡𝕝𝕖 𝕊𝕙𝕒𝕞𝕡𝕠𝕠 𝕠𝕟𝕔𝕖 𝕨𝕖𝕖𝕜𝕝𝕪 | keeping the brass at bay is important for every blondie! But it’s important that you use a *good* purple shampoo that properly tones your hair while nourishing it! (Message me or ask at your next appointment for recommendations)

• 𝕃𝕒𝕪 𝕠𝕗𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 ℍ𝕖𝕒𝕥 | air dry your hair when possible. Choose between blowdrying and curling. Braid your hair at night for heatless waves. The less heat you use the better! And when you use heat, lower the temperature when possible!

• 𝔻𝕠𝕟’𝕥 𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕣-𝕝𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥𝕖𝕟 𝕪𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝕙𝕒𝕚𝕣 | part of this is the technique of the stylist, but on your part, make sure you’re stretching out time between blonde touch-ups! Most of my blonde clients can last 10-12 weeks without a touch-up leaving their hair much healthier than if they got lightener every 6 weeks!

• 𝕌𝕤𝕖 𝕒 𝕃𝕖𝕒𝕧𝕖-𝕀𝕟 ℂ𝕠𝕟𝕕𝕚𝕥𝕚𝕠𝕟𝕖𝕣 𝕒𝕟𝕕 ℍ𝕒𝕚𝕣 𝕆𝕚𝕝 | make sure to spritz your hair with a quality leave-in conditioner after every wash and comb through gently. Daily (I recommend at bedtime) apply a couple pumps of hair oil to your dry ends and brush through. Blonde hair loses its natural moisture quicker so it’s important to restore that moisture as much as possible to keep your hair soft and prevent breakage.

⭐️ ℙℝ𝕆 𝕋𝕀ℙ: use a satin pillowcase! It prevents breakage and tangles overnight and preserves your style. My beach waves last a couple days thanks to my pillowcase!

Thirty | Flirty | THRIVING ✨

I had a vision of what being 30 would look like for so many years. I pictured a woman who had her sh*t together, had a solid tight-knit group of friends, financially stable. Growing a family, vivacious social life. Travels, eats and drinks well… I always pictured my best self being 30.

The past couple years of my life haven’t been the easiest. I’ve had to face myself, been challenged, been hurt worse than words can describe. I’ve had anxiety and struggled with self confidence. I’ve tried to fit into places and relationships I didn’t belong. I’ve made mistakes and kicked myself. I’ve felt like a total failure as a wife, mom, hairstylist, friend, daughter, sister, Christian, human.

I looked in the mirror about 6 months ago, thinking “Wow… and you thought you’d have it all together when you made it to 30.”

God is good. He has seen me through all of the valleys of the past 2 years. He allowed the hurt to heal. He showed me the things within myself that needed to change. He removed the things from my path that weren’t for me. He has provided opportunities that are life changing. He has shown me a clear picture of his will for me. He has opened my eyes to who my people are. He has allowed me to forgive. He is teaching me what it means to TRULY thrive.

My 31st year is just beginning and I feel in my bones that huge transformation is continuing to happen in my life. I’m thankful for the challenges and joys that lie ahead because now I know that without both we can’t grow into who we’re meant to be.

Here’s to 30… Imperfect. Real. Happy. Messy. Genuine. Here’s to Embracing life; Giving grace; Laughing frequently; Loving endlessly; Thanking God daily. 💕

Creamy blonde goals🍦

It’s been a whirlwind of a month or so! 🤪 our house has been on the go since thanksgiving — between family gatherings, Santa visits, a week at Disney, Christmas shopping, working, and celebrating the holidays with family and friends — It has literally been non-stop!

I’ve been talking about our adventures with my clients for months now so I thought I’d share some of these special memories with all of you 💕

We had an incredible trip to Disney and exploring Florida 🌴 followed by lots of fun Christmas celebrations with family this week. Our family is so blessed! And also — pretty tired 😂
