This beautiful client has never colored her hair. She loved her natural base but was starting to feel frustrated with the greys around her temples. What she didn’t want?
Monthly root touch-ups. Harsh regrowth lines. A commitment she’d have to maintain forever.

So instead of permanent color, we chose a Demi glaze ✨

• It didn’t alter her natural base
• It didn’t fully “cover” the greys
• It softly muted and blended them
• It added gorgeous shine
• It smoothed down that wiry texture

The result?
Her greys now read more like soft highlights, and her hair looks healthier and more youthful — without creating a maintenance cycle.

We’re so excited to welcome Amy Lucas to our salon family! 💛
Amy brings over 15 years of experience behind the chair, trained locally in Latham before spending a decade in New York City perfecting her craft in both the East Village and Upper East Side. She’s highly skilled in the professional color line we use here at the salon—the same system that gives our clients rich, dimensional tones and seamless gray coverage or blending. Amy’s passion is creating soft, lived-in blondes and sculpting haircuts that flatter your face shape, texture, and natural movement.

She’s a mom of three and works while her kids are in school — so if you’ve been dreaming of some hair love during school hours, she’s your girl! ☕✂️

Her first day is Monday morning, October 27th, and her books are open now. Help us give Amy the warmest Twisted Scissors welcome and grab one of those cozy morning appointments! 💕
