Sometimes a transformation isn’t light to dark or dark to light. Sometimes it’s just changing from a more golden tone to a lighter neutral tone. Still a lot of work, but a subtle shift. Full foil, and a darker root color to match her natural depth.

The face behind the chair. You see so much content of the hair but let’s face it seeing someone new is scary because you are stuck with them for hours. So here’s a little bit about me so you can decide if we are going to vibe or not. Also every person who sits in my chair gets to see some different sides of me, so some of you may learn something new too!

⚫️ I love to travel, from big cities to national parks I love it all. I love telling everyone about my trips and LOVE learning about everyone else’s travel plans.

⚫️I do love to hike, and with no camping experience whatsoever I am convinced I will hike the PCT one day

⚫️I am an adventurous eater and a slight foodie so I love to try new restaurants, and hear about your best meals!
I still haven’t been to Dianoia’s though 😱

⚫️I haven’t grown up in my music taste since I was younger so unless Randilyn changes it or you request a change, the station will be playing a lot of 2000s indie music.

⚫️I am a huge bookworm, but won’t join a bookclub because so many of my clients love to read so some days feel like an all day book club anyway. We also installed a little library since there were already books being passed back and forth so much.

⚫️I prefer deep conversations to small talk, I’m happy to keep things light however I love the privilege that I get to know so many of you on an emotional level. When someone feels safe enough with my space and myself to open up, it’s a huge compliment.

⚫️Depending on the day or time you may get a slightly different energy level from me, my 2:00 lull I tend to get more quiet, but by 3:30 on my third cup of coffee I may have a lot more to say.
No matter what I love being able to make the person in my chair my focus, and give you the appointment you need for that day!

Hair color looks different in different lighting. Ever notice if you are an evening color I typically won’t take any pictures? It’s because without the reflection of light it can be hard to see different tones in the hair.

Things to keep in mind when we do your color, the undertones in the hair will be picked up and AMPLIFIED by the sun. So we either embrace it or we counteract it. The more we know of what you like, the more we can make sure you get the results you want.

In case you didn’t know, blonde hair is my favorite thing to do behind the chair. No matter the tone, the technique, or even the amount of blonde. Knowing how far to lift the hair, how to deliver the results you want, all just feels like a puzzle that needs fit together to give you the results perfect for you, and I love puzzles. 🧩

Imagine only knowing spa style treatment haircuts. No spray bottles, and chopped bobs and bad bangs. Only knowing your favorite snacks stocked, scalp massages and heated towels, curls and glitter spray. That’s what happens when your moms bring you into Fika.

Nothing brings me quite as much joy as the confidence boost I was able to help with before walking into a new school year for so many. As always it is such a privilege to be a part of these kiddos life.

A little rich, a little spicy, and SO pretty with all that natural dimension. The perfect refresh without feeling like a total change.

We used an all over copper blonde on the ends to tone down the natural summer dimension, add shine, and create this incredible look.

Before & After to show the difference a haircut can make. Yes the hair looks fantastic and it’s fun for a major change.

However seeing the smile when someone falls in love with their hair is my reason why I show up every day.
