This technique blends be soft seamless grow out of balayage, with the precision of traditional highlighting.
On lighter tones, you can also often achieve a cooler blonde tone, versus the traditional “sweeping” of most balayage placement technique.

What is “V-Light” hair extensions method, you ask?

This is one of the most invisible hair extension application methods,
and the wood is not meant for a full head application these tiny, flat, and transparent bonds are virtually undetectable, even in delicate areas like the hairline, fringe, or part.

V-Light is a strand-by-strand hair extension application that uses a special, light-activated adhesive and a UV or LED lamp to attach hair.
The “cold” UV light cures the adhesive instantly, which means there is no heat applied to your hair or scalp during the bonding process.

This method is also a fantastic way to add chemical free highlights!

Everyone shows the “before and after”, but today I’m going to show you the process…(under the hood)

When adding extensions to fine or thin hair,
getting the method and the density correct is the most important thing,
and here we used a “cocktail method”
(meaning mixing two different types of installations)
to grow out the hair of her crown that broke from years of previous bleaching.

I also shifted her hair color from lightning with bleach, to blonding with air-touch highlights, and hair color instead.
This can often be a much gentler color option.
You can still have dimensional color, but with a much more natural result.

This isn’t about the “After” look.
This is about the process that has you growing back your OWN hair, healthier than when you started your hair extension journey.
