What is it about water that is so calming? 🌊

I have always been drawn to water and for me, it’s in the way it sounds… It’s the way it flows with reckless abandon, ending up exactly where it intends to be. It could be a fierce and treacherous storm or completely still. It’s soft, comforting and life sustaining. So while you’re out watering your plants, hydrating yourself or relaxing in a bubble bath after a hard days work, make sure you’re breathing and getting some water in to help you find your calm today. 🌬💧☮️

It was a long winter and after taking a huge mental break from social media, I’m back and here to say that May is mental health awareness month! 🧠

As someone who struggled with depression in the past but has been struggling with PPA since my son was 8 weeks old, it has been hugely helpful for me to be surrounded by those who understand and support me, get the right help and medicine I need, and for me to take extremely good care of my mind, body and soul, especially when my anxiety is at an all time high. Talking to a Licensed professional and getting my own massage or body treatments have helped tremendously! There is help out there and I had to make the change for myself, my son and my family so I can be a better me.

If you or someone you love struggle with your mental health, you are so not alone. Give them a great big hug or lend them an ear and tell them they are loved. But always always be kind. You never know who may just be trying to make it through the day. There is help out there, you don’t have to suffer alone. 💚💚💚

Join me in educating ourselves so we know how to treat those around us who may be silently suffering. Be gentle. Be kind. Be loving. Be you! ✨
