March 15, 1991 we opened Snipz Hair Design. 30 years to the day it is officially closed forever. This will be my last post on this page and I am going to close this account at the end of the night. Thank you again to all of the wonderful people that made this little shop what it was....a little girl’s dream come true. I had the best staff/friends/family alongside me for the ride and it truly was an amazing ride!❤️❤️❤️

Today is the last day of 2020...probably one of the most terrible “business” years in my almost 30 years as a business owner. Unfortunately it was my last year as an owner as well. I’m so grateful for all of the amazing people I have worked with over the years and for all of the customers who walked through our door every day. I’m thankful that I have a new door to walk through and do the job that I love with new and old friends. I’ve learned to appreciate my family and friends more than ever this past year and I will never forget the kindness and generosity of people during one of the most difficult times of my life. I hope that 2021 is a better year for everyone in this crazy world!! Happy New Year everyone!

Update: I have written this post a million times in my head and there is just no easy way to say it except to just say what is happening. My building suffered extensive damage (despite what the paper said) from the fire and mostly from the watering is going to be torn down. My almost 30 years as an owner and stylist have been amazing and I’m so incredibly sad to announce that our doors will be closed for good. I have been blessed to have worked with so many wonderful people and have the best customers in the world!! Thank you so much for all of yours prayers and support. Thank you for making my business a success for so many years. Now for some good news, I am excited to announce that I will be starting a new job at Louis Charles this week. I would love to continue serving you as your stylist!! I hope you will follow Kelly, Jan and Sharon wherever they decide to work as well. We were a family and will continue to support each other the rest of our lives!! Thank you again to everyone for helping me through this very difficult time. I am truly grateful.... ❤️❤️

I have owned Snipz for over 29 years and this has by far been the hardest. First Covid and now a fire... I am not sure what the future holds for us but one thing I am sure of is that I have the most amazing family and friends. Thank you to every single person who helped me clean out the salon, made phone calls, sent texts, let me cry on their shoulder. My girls who I am proud to work with every day are the best friends I could ever ask for have been beside me every step of the way and I can’t thank you enough. My family and friends have gone above and beyond to help me. Most of all everyone who lives in the building got out safe and no one was hurt. With all of the bad that is happening in the world I was reminded that most people are truly are good. Hopefully soon I will be able to post that we will be open again here or somewhere else but for now all I can do is thank everyone for your love and prayers. I have faith it will all work out...God Is good ❤️❤️

Good evening everyone!!! We are finally allowed to open on June 5!!! We will be scheduling according to CDC guidelines so it might take a little bit of time to accommodate everyone but we will do our best! Thank you in advance for your patience and we can’t wait to see everybody!

Good morning everyone!! We miss everyone and are hopeful that we will be able to reopen soon. We are preparing to be able to take care of our clients as safely as possible and once we know exactly when we are allowed to reopen we will be sure to let everyone know!! Life will probably be a little different for awhile but we will be positive and change what we can to make everyone feel safe and beautiful at the same time!!
