Real vs Fake, where do you stand?

You may have noticed that our social media isn’t filled with perfectly polished, AI-generated photos, elaborate graphics, or content designed to look too good to be real.

And honestly… that’s intentional.

I don’t use AI to create content for Silk Soapery. I choose real photos, real products, real words, real behind-the-scenes moments, and the sometimes imperfect reality of running a small handmade business.

Because behind every bar of soap, shampoo bar, body butter, package, post and new product idea is me.

I’m the:

…and the person who wears about a hundred other hats along the way.

I do it all.

And while that may mean our social media isn’t always the fanciest or most polished, I want you to see the real person and the real small business behind the products you know & trust.

There is something really special about knowing who made the soap sitting on your bathroom counter or she solid shampoo bar in your shower. Knowing that it wasn’t mass-produced by a machine or dreamed up by an algorithm. It was made by a person who cares deeply about what she creates and the people who choose to support it.

So if my feed looks a little more simple, a little more homemade, or occasionally a little imperfect, I hope you can appreciate that.

You’re supporting a real person, a real family, a real small business and years of learning, experimenting, creating and figuring things out along the way.

Started the day off with a batch of soap for a custom order, then moved on to Hair & Beard Oil x2 batches.
Next will be Magnesium Crème and in between I am packing orders that came in over the weekend.
