Hey everyone, just wanted to give all my clients a quick update about my health. I’ve been struggling with one illness after another since Christmas— flu, RSV, pneumonia, COVID, and even a stomach bug. It feels like I catch everything, so I spoke with my doctor. Apparently, when I had scarlet fever at 4 years old, it weakened my immune system, and as I get older, it’s only going to get worse.
I want to assure you all that I haven’t forgotten about you! It’s just been a tough few months. I’ll be sitting down today to reach out to everyone I had to reschedule.
Also, please keep Luke in your prayers—we’re at the doctor right now. He’s been dealing with severe neck and shoulder pain for over a week, and it’s only getting worse.
I appreciate your understanding and hope to be back to seeing you all very soon!

Good morning everyone!!! Just a little update for the salon. Don't know if it will get to open this week. I am taking it day by day on this big hill of ours. Right now it is still snow packed and a sheet of ice. I will reach out to everyone if we need to reschedule. Hopefully this round coming Friday will not be too bad. I want everyone to stay safe and warm!

I really hate to make this kind of post, but after being sick all of last week, I feel it's necessary to address something important.

As we head into sick season, I kindly ask that if you're feeling under the weather — whether you're sneezing, coughing, or just not feeling well — please reschedule your appointment.

I truly appreciate your understanding. I'd much rather miss one appointment than risk being out for an entire week again.

Hi everyone, I hope you're doing well!
I wanted to take a moment to address something important.

As many of you know, I always take the time to personally text my clients the day before their appointments. I do this as a courtesy to confirm or adjust anything that may have come up.

All I ask is that you please respond— even if you need to cancel or reschedule. When I don’t hear back, it leaves a 2–3 hour time slot open that I could’ve given to someone else, and unfortunately, that’s lost income for me.

If you know you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible so I can try to fill that spot. I completely understand that things come up last minute, but recently I’ve had several people cancel just 30 minutes before their appointment.

If this continues, I’ll need to start requiring non-refundable deposits for appointments. I’ll share more details about that soon.

This is how I support my family and pay my bills, and your consideration truly means the world to me. Thank you all so much for your continued support—I wouldn’t be here without you!
