✨ Meet Jadyn — Hairstylist at Royals Salon ✨

Jadyn may be newer behind the chair, but she has known for a long time that the beauty industry was where she wanted to be. She’s officially been doing hair for 3 months and says part of what inspired her to finally go for it was watching her cousin (aka Beauty By Brooke🥹) build a career in the industry.

Her favorite services are all things BLONDE 🤌🏼 Highlights, lived-in color, big transformations… give her a brunette who wants to go blonde and she is READY. She also loves a good box-dye rescue because apparently she enjoys a challenge 😂

She’s currently working toward her extension certification and would love to get more brunettes in her chair too!

✨ WHAT IT’S LIKE IN JADYN’S CHAIR

Jadyn is really good at matching her client’s energy. Want to talk the entire appointment? She can talk with you. Want to relax and have a quieter appointment? She’s perfectly happy with that too.

And if she seems a little quiet when you first meet her, don’t mistake it for being rude! She’s actually an introvert and says people sometimes think she’s mean before they get to know her. In reality, she’s sweet, kind, funny, and genuinely cares about making people feel good about themselves.

Her favorite part of doing hair is the final reveal. Seeing someone’s reaction when they look in the mirror and watching that confidence come back is exactly why she loves what she does. 🥹

Kaitlyn has been doing hair since 2019, is certified in Butterfly Weft extensions, and has completed multiple continuing education classes in New York.

She can talk about absolutely anything for hours and her friends literally say, “social anxiety is scared of you.”

🔨 Hidden talent: She’s basically a handyman.

She’s super independent, creative and crafty and will figure out how to get pretty much anything done herself. Growing up as the only girl with four brothers probably had something to do with that. 😂

👗 Her style: She loves a good dress up moment and a full beat, but 9 times out of 10 she’s choosing comfy cute. Comfort wins every time.

😵‍💫 Biggest pet peeve: People with absolutely no sense of urgency or consideration for anyone else.

🛍️ Her money disappears on: Coffee, seafood and a cute sweatshirt. Every. Single. Time.

🏠 Homebody or always out? Somehow both.

At home she’s cleaning or crafting. But give her a shopping day and she’s hitting EVERY store and making a full day out of it.

She also loves a good night out every once in a while, especially if there’s line dancing involved. And she will absolutely accept the opportunity to run the table in beer pong. 🤪

✨ A LITTLE MORE ABOUT KAITLYN

Kaitlyn and her husband have been together for 7 years and married for 2. They’ve spent the last several years making the most of their youth together, including full time RVing, traveling and going on as many cruises as possible.

They’ve decided to hold off on human babies for now, so their fur baby Sadie gets to be the spoiled child of the family. 🐾😂

Kaitlyn is outgoing, talkative and usually the life of the party. She’s also the person making sure nobody feels left out and everyone around her is having a good time.

Her philosophy is pretty simple:

Life is way too short to care what everyone else thinks about you.

✨ MEET MIRANDA | YOUR LASH BESTIE ✨

If you want bomb lashes and an appointment where you can actually relax, laugh, vent, and be yourself, Miranda is your girl.

Miranda has been doing lashes since 2020 and is a 2x certified lash artist. She originally fell in love with lashes after getting her very first set and realizing how much more confident they made her feel. She knew she wanted to be able to give other women that same feeling.

And if you ask her what her favorite set is, there’s no hesitation. WISPY VOLUME. 🤌🏼

She loves anything fluffy, full, dramatic and a little extra. In her words, volume lashes are basically the secret to looking put together when you are absolutely not put together. 😂

✨ ALL ABOUT LASHES

Miranda offers lash extensions, lash lifts and tints, and brow tinting. She’s certified through both Believable Lash and TSPA and plans to continue adding more education and certifications.

Her favorite transformations aren’t necessarily the most dramatic ones, though. It’s the moment a client looks in the mirror and feels beautiful again. 🥹

She wants every person who sits in her chair to feel completely comfortable being themselves. Your appointment might include lashes, laughing, venting and possibly a full therapy session.

And while we have her here, Miranda has a PSA:

PLEASE WASH YOUR LASHES. 😂

Yes, you can get them wet. No, they do not need to live a dry, dusty life. And putting mascara on them when you desperately need a fill is not fooling anybody. 🤦🏽‍♀️🤣

She’d also love to have more clients coming to her for waxing and body contouring, so if you’re trying to get smooth and snatched, you know who to call. 😘

🖤 A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT MIRANDA

Her coffee order is as basic as it gets and she fully owns it. 😂 It has to be iced no matter how cold it is outside, with white mocha, an extra shot and cold foam. And absolutely NO CARAMEL.

Give her a true crime documentary and she’s happy. 💀

Her music taste makes absolutely no sense in the best way. One minute it’s Young Dolph, Boosie or Glo, and the next it’s Dolly Parton or Alan Jackson. There is no middle ground. 😂

She can talk about her kids for HOURS. She’s a mom of four, has been married for 14 years, and when she isn’t at the salon, she’s probably at a ball field or cheer competition. 🫶🏼

And despite what you might think when you first meet her, she’s actually a huge introvert with major social anxiety. 😂 She can be loud, confident and definitely isn’t afraid of confrontation, but that does NOT mean she wants to socialize. Think introvert in an extrovert costume. 😅

She’s also a major homebody. If she could stay home in sweats and a ball cap and have everything delivered to her forever, she probably would.

Her friends would describe her as loyal, hardworking and confident. She has a strong personality and isn’t afraid to stand up for herself, which can sometimes make people think she’s intimidating. But underneath that strong exterior is someone with a huge heart who would genuinely give you the shirt off her back. ❤️

A few other Miranda facts:

She considers being an insanely loyal friend one of her best qualities. 🫶🏼

Not making eye contact while you’re talking to her drives her CRAZY. 😂

She will spend money on lashes, nails and coffee every single time.

Her current uniform is basically a ball cap, sweats and sneakers. Sporty Spice era activated. 💁🏽‍♀️

And she has a serious thing about checking locks. She’ll lock it, walk away, question herself, go back and check it, then probably check it one more time just to be safe. 🥴😂

At the end of the day, Miranda wants every client who gets up from her lash bed to feel worthy, empowered, confident and beautiful.

Havin has been behind the chair for 8 years, but beauty has pretty much always been part of who she is. As a kid, she’d wake up at 4–5 AM just to do her hair and makeup before school. Heels, crazy hairstyles, the whole thing. Everyone called her extra… and honestly, they weren’t wrong. 😂🖤

These days, that love for going a little over the top shows up in her work. Her favorites are big transformations, vivid colors + extensions, especially the bright, funky, multi-colored looks that let her creativity run wild.

And because apparently doing hair wasn’t enough…

Havin also works on an ambulance when she isn’t at the salon, has two daughters, two cats, a puppy and a man she loves — AND she can crochet, sew clothes and blankets, build things, cook and paint.

Basically, she’s a self-described jack of all trades who never sits down. Her brain goes 0–100 constantly, she’s always coming up with some new idea or invention she’ll probably never make 😂 and she genuinely loves to hustle.

If she seems quiet when you first meet her, don’t be fooled.

She’s a little Wednesday Addams, a little resting-mean-face, quiet AND loud somehow, extremely observant, ambitious, determined, kind, strong — with a dark sense of humor that not everybody is prepared for. 😂

Three words she’d use to describe herself:

And underneath all of that is someone who genuinely cares about making people feel beautiful.

✨ LET ME REINTRODUCE MYSELF ✨

Hi, I’m Brooke! Hairstylist, extension lover, salon owner, wife, mom of four, and the girl who is almost definitely going to drop something during your appointment. 😂

I’ve been behind the chair since 2013, but funny enough, hair wasn’t technically Plan A. I originally wanted to be a therapist… until college algebra had other plans. 😂 Looking back, though, this career makes perfect sense. I was always the friend doing everyone’s hair and makeup for church camp and school, and I was OBSESSED with America’s Next Top Model, especially makeover day. I wanted to be part of transformations like that so badly.

Fast forward to now, and transformations are still my favorite part of what I do. 🤍

I specialize in hair extensions + blonding, and nothing makes me happier than a dramatic extension makeover, especially when it’s part of someone’s own little glow-up era. Getting BOLD certified this year completely reignited my passion for hair and extensions, and that’s an area I plan to keep learning, growing and pushing myself in.

My husband (who is a barber) and I have owned Royals Salon for 5 years, and I think one of the biggest things I’ve learned along the way is that there is SO much more room for success when women support each other instead of compete with each other. I’m incredibly proud that we’ve built a 5-star salon filled with women who share the kind of work ethic and values I want Royals to represent.

But outside of hair…

I’m married to the guy I’ve been with since we were 16. 🥹 We have four kids (three boys and one girl) who we homeschool, so life is basically equal parts salon owner, hairstylist, mom, teacher and chaos coordinator.

A few things you should probably know about me… 😂

✨ I’m somehow extremely shy AND extremely bold. Give me hair, makeup or anything creative and I have all the confidence in the world, but socially, I’m painfully shy. Sometimes it gets mistaken for me being standoffish until people actually get to know me.

✨ My salon coffee order is a sugar-free iced Blondie from 7 Brew with almond milk, cold foam + sugar-free caramel drizzle. If you ever show up with one, just know you’re automatically my favorite. 😂

✨ If you’ve spent any amount of time in my chair, there’s a very good chance Desperate Housewives was playing. It’s basically the unofficial background noise of my salon at this point.

✨ I’m also a Certified Lactation Counselor, and I could talk about homebirth, breastfeeding, birth and babies for HOURS.

✨ Plot twist: my husband and I actually met playing in a Christian metal band. I played piano, and somehow that eventually turned into marriage, four kids and owning a salon together. 😂

✨ Hair extensions aren’t just my specialty they’re also my guilty pleasure thing I will spend money on every. single. time.

✨ I’m a major homebody, but when I actually leave the house, I’m probably overdressed. Give me glam over sweats any day.

✨ And one last very important piece of information: I cannot STAND gum chewing. 😂

So basically: shy but bold, glam but a homebody, metal-band pianist turned hairstylist, birth nerd, extension addict, Desperate Housewives repeater and permanently holding a 7 Brew. 🖤

And while I obviously want you to leave my chair with amazing hair, the actual relationship I build with my clients is one of my favorite parts of this career. Somewhere along the way, “hairstylist” usually turns into business brainstorming, life updates and unofficial therapist. 😂

Most importantly, I NEVER want someone sitting in my chair worrying that I’m judging them. Come in with no makeup. Come in with your hair a mess. Come exactly as you are. I’m not analyzing you, I'm here to make your hair pretty, make you feel comfortable and send you out feeling confident and fabulous.
