The Electric Chair Hair Salon is shutting our doors.

We want to say Thank You to all the awesome clients and people of Cabot who have supported us all these years. I had plans to move things to a salon at the house but Ive decided to just get out of the hair business for now.

This last couple years due to Masons diabetes diagnosis and family issues, Ive lost focus on monetary gain and my main focus is now just being the best Mom and Wife I can be. This decision didn't come easy but its whats best for my life and our family.

As some of you may know, I explored a few different telephone systems for the salon and it was best just to start fresh with a new phone number.

Right now Im the only one working in the salon so Im there by appointment only. Give me a call at (501)500-2765, to set up an appointment or consult.

As many of you know, our founder, Shirley Fields has retired after over 40 years behind the chair. She started doing hair for relatives. Many times she was paid in pork chops and eggs to feed her family. She later went to beauty school, and it became her career.
She moved to Cabot for my grandfathers job and started working in a salon in town. After being approached to buy The Electric Chair Hair Salon, she was nervous, but took it as a sign when the one advertising bill she would have to take over finished the last payment on her birthday!
Im so thankful for her hard work and determination. She built a salon that is more like a family get together, than a business. We have been thru so much over the years and also been there for our clients during some of their worst and best times.
I never imagined I would one day take her spot and run the salon. For the last almost 7 years, Ive been in charge of the salon, and now that shes retired, I realize how much she livened up the place ❤️
We miss you MY Nonny! But after working all your life, your reward is spending the rest of your time doing whatever your heart desires. Thank you for all the sacrifices you made, and for not killing me when I was being hardheaded. Thank you for blessing me with a way to raise my children without sacrificing my career. Love JenJen

The Electric Chair Hair Salon will be closed again today. Shirley will be back tomorrow 2/15 but Jennifer is being nurse Mommy so Ill be back as soon as possible. Say a prayer for me and the littles, this flu is no joke 🤧😢😷

SUNDAY-MONDAY: CLOSED

(Shirley is available Thursday and Friday 9-5)

This announcement is for anyone trying to stop by. Thursday thru Saturday we will be in the salon, but from now on, Tuesday and Wednesday are appointment only. I will have the salon number connected to my cell, so I will still be available to book appointments on those days. We look forward to hearing from you 🙂
