Embracing the darker side this fall 🫶🏻
After years of blonde; we decided to do a reverse balayage on Tara, doing lowlights of her natural color underneath and through the sides, and an air touch highlight on top, darkening all the shorter pieces for a seamless blend.
We decided to keep the money piece around her face so it didn’t feel too dark, and toned her blonde down a shade darker.

I have to say, this is one of my favorite sessions with her 🍂🫶🏻🤎

Sometimes all you need is a little bit of lowlights ✨

My mom came in for her fall hair apt and we touched up her grays, and with the same color formula, pulled some dark pieces through the ends to break up the more solid color into a more blended and dimensional one.

Since she has naturally dark hair, and we only lift her to a level 8, her hair fades to a brassy warm tone once her toner fades out. Here’s your reminder that ALL hair fades warm. Without lifting her previously lightened hair, we just toned her with a cool 8Vg + 9Bv for a nice beige toned blonde.

After a good cut of about 5 inches, and point cut layering, she was left with this beautiful bouncy blowout and dimensional color 🍁

She wanted a big change, and I was so excited to get to do this for her!
We cut off about 6-8 inches of length, added highlights through the top for a dimensional blonde, and calico hair underneath!
