We stand with 621,000 licensed professionals for an immediate reopening. Salons are safe and absolutely essential to their clients emotional wellbeing, especially through these stressful times. We’ve already seen dozens of permanent salon closures, which is heartbreaking and devastating! We will do everything in our power to fight for the salons and stylists that provide much needed (physical + mental) care for our communities.⁣

✅ Stylists are trained to prevent infectious diseases, in fact, it’s the main focus of their 1,600 hours of education

✅ They use EPA certified hospital grade disinfectants (like Barbicide) to kill viruses including HIV/AIDS + Covid 19 between each client.

✅ They follow the additional strict protocols that were implemented by the State Board before they could even re-open and some spent thousands to comply, only to be shut down weeks later⁣
