Spa Lapis

Dear friends,

It is with great sadness that I am announcing the closing of Spa Lapis at 1776 Mass Ave.

While pregnant, I had the very best intentions to remain open and somehow balance all of the moving parts of my life just as I had been for the past six years of being in business. Needless to say, motherhood had other plans for me!

Being one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make in my life, I chose a path that would allow me to spend as much time with my son as possible at home while still working - fully focused on mental health counseling remotely. Some of you might even understand that a priority shift of this magnitude makes taking this kind of action much easier than one would anticipate.

This week I received a message from the universe to hold onto and cherish the memories, and there are so many for me to hold close to my heart forever. To all of you, especially those of you who have been with me since opening in 2016, and even more so for those of you who followed me there from my previous work, I am eternally grateful for your support, loyalty, friendship. For those of you who were much newer to the Spa Lapis family, thank you for giving us the chance to meet.

I'd like to make a special shoutout to Marissa Murray, who was crucial in keeping Spa Lapis afloat while I was on maternity leave. Marissa, thank you for all that you have done!

A small holistic esthetics service located in Porter Square, Cambridge, is looking to hire warm, outgoing and driven MA licensed estheticians that can provide an outstanding service to our clients.

We offer European facials, waxing, threading, eyelash and eyebrow enhancements, and makeup applications.

Requirements:
Can work independently
Goal-oriented
Punctual
Attention to detail
Maintain a clean working space
Comfortable with waxing
Comfortable with European facials
Eager to build steady clientele
Excellent customer service skills
Interest or experience in eyelash lifting/tinting preferred.

NO retail experience necessary – we do not sell products, only services.

This is a PART-TIME commission position with flexible hours. Training will be provided.
