We're OK'ish!!
Last Susi post! Mom has passed. She's no longer in pain!! I miss her already!!!
Susi update-
While the queen rests her eyes, the drones are buzzing around the nest. We're not trying to be too quiet, as to keep the queen in a natural habitat. She is as beautiful as ever, in a peaceful dream. We hope she could stay forevermore, but that's not what it seems. We will patiently wait for her last breath, and put love will only grow!
The nurse came today and put in a catheter this morning. Mom is on liquid meds now and is on morphine / dilaudid around the clock. Mom is declining pretty quickly and the nurse thinks she will go within the next few days. Her breathing is more labored, her feet are swollen, and she's not eating.
Starting in the next 1-2 days a hospice nurse will be here from 8-5 every day. The nurse said we should limit visitors to close family and friends.
Thank you to all for your continued support!
