Acne doesn’t clear overnight. It can take months to clear, and scaring might take a year or two to lift. That can be a hard reality to hear, but part of my job is being transparent with my clients, that’s how trust is built in my practice.

This beautiful client has worked hard on being consistent with her customized skincare routine, along with coming in for regular facials which consisted of hydrating enzyme masks, light peels, professional extractions, LED and hydrating products. She started with the acne boot camp and continued coming back for maintenance.

So making sure you give it the extra time to restore by sleeping is critical for healthy skin.
When you sleep your body was designed to heal itself. Resting from digestion and any stressors. Your body will most likely restore your internal organs before it aids the skin. So allowing your body to do its thing FULLY is what you should be aiming for 🎯
