This trade show was definitely one for the books! 🙌🏾🔥 Black Beauty Roster, all I can say is… BRAVO!

Monday was an incredible experience for beauty creatives. From the talent and networking to the brands, education, and amazing gifts, BBR truly outdid themselves.

Being surrounded by creatives who share the same passion reminded me that I’m exactly where I’m supposed to be. As I approach my 10th year in business, being able to learn from and connect with so many people who have paved the way in this industry gave me the encouragement I needed to keep pushing forward.

I made so many genuine connections, and everyone was so welcoming. Thank you, Black Beauty Roster, for creating a space where our community can come together, learn, and grow.

We saved his prom, y’all. 😭🥹❤️

This young man reached out to me on Instagram and shared that he’s been living with Alopecia Areata since he was 11 years old. He told me he always wore hats because he was tired of being bullied over hair loss that he had no control over.

We hopped on FaceTime, and my heart immediately went out to him.

With prom coming up and all the other expenses that come with it, he simply couldn’t afford everything. I told him, “Whatever you have, we’re going to make it work. I just want to help you.” ❤️

This transformation definitely took a little extra finesse because of the placement of his bald spots, but chiiiiile… 🥹 the moment he looked in that mirror, it was all worth it. He immediately started calling almost everyone in his contact list to show off his new look. That smile… you couldn’t fake it. We didn’t just transform his hair, we helped restore his confidence. ❤️
