This is seriously the most simplistic and cost effective way you can possibly highlight your hair. She’s normally just a root retouch ($55) but once a year she adds in, what I call, a freestyle highlight. A way to add dimension so that matte color looks more natural and luminous. This is a highlight added on to your root retouch without any foils or balayage techniques. No toner. I literally freestyle and paint the highlights on carefully while your root color processes (so no extra wait time). This gives a 2-4 level lift from your root color and “walla!” Dimensional color. And it’s only a $40 up charge to your color service (a lot cheaper than a highlight service). One way to upscale that look to perfection and can last several times through root services. With her hair cut ($35) her total was $130. When times are tough yet you want the luxury of beautiful hair… it can be done!

Really wish I had a “before” picture… my mother is beautiful…her hair was a bit over-processed, and we needed to really re-hydrate this compromised hair and replenish its molecular integrity. Started with a clarifying shampoo to strip of everything prior that was on the hair. Then purple shampoo to brighten her highlight, then miracle water for intense conditioning.
Miracle leave in, its’ sister companion. Then on to Kuene leave-in repair mask (equivalent to the K-18 repair mask) Revive Balm (Care Instant Revive): A luxurious, nourishing leave-in that repairs damaged hair by up to 73% and provides heat protection up to 230°C/446°F, preserving 95% of color after 5 weeks. She said her hair never felt and looked so good! Job is done! ✅

Roots untouched to blend her natural salt ‘n pepper. Started with a warm medium brown to this beautiful dark ash and salt, and it turned out gorgeous!

Just happened to have so many of my ladies together at the same time! Took advantage … just a gorgeous bunch! 🤍🤍🤍
