This patient is just 6 weeks post-op from a functional and cosmetic septorhinoplasty, and I love how naturally her new nose complements her face.

In the last photo of the series, you’ll see the Before → Morph → Post-Op photo. It is especially fun to see because it shows how we use preoperative morphing as part of the rhinoplasty consultation to show patients what the goal of surgery will be based on their concerns.

So, what is morphing?
Morphing is digital imaging that allows us to modify a patient’s preoperative photographs to visualize potential surgical changes. It helps the patient and surgeon communicate about goals—things like bumps, deviation, tip rotation and projection, and overall facial balance.

Importantly, a morph is not a guarantee or an exact prediction of the surgical result. Every nose has unique anatomy, and healing continues for many months after surgery. Instead, morphing gives us a shared visual reference and helps make sure we are working toward the same aesthetic goals.

At only six weeks, she still has swelling and significant refinement ahead—especially in the nasal tip—but her profile is already beautifully balanced and natural.

For me, rhinoplasty is never about creating the same nose on every patient. It’s about creating a nose that fits the individual face while maintaining or improving nasal function. 🤍

So thankful this patient was willing to let us show her before and after photos. At first she was hesitant for anyone to see her photos but when we showed her, she was thrilled and wanted others to know what is possible. She was very bothered by the excess skin and laxity under her chin and her neck. I performed a lower face and neck lift as well as a lower eyelid 35% TCA peel to tighten the crepey skin of her lower eyelids. We are thrilled for her and best of all, she is too!

Just saw this beauty back for her 1 month follow-up after an upper eyelid blepharoplasty! I absolutely love the refresh that happens after cleaning up a little of the extra upped eyelid skin.

I often get the question “Am I too young?” My answer is, well does it bother you enough to do something about it? Yes, the younger you do surgery the higher likelihood you may need to do it again in the future…but if you are ok with that, then that’s your decision! If it bothers you, let’s fix it 😊

I always love seeing how elevating the brows to a more natural position and removing excess upper eyelid skin opens the face and brightens the eyes. Natural and refreshed!

Check out our lovely Jennie’s before and after pics! I performed a lip lift on her 1 month ago and I couldn’t love her results more. As we age, the white portion of the upper lip tends to elongate, contributing to the appearance of facial aging. Through an incision hidden under the nose (her’s is still a bit pink and will lighten significantly over the first year), I am able to reduce the amount of white lip and this leads to a very refreshed, more youthful appearance!

Warning! Sometimes people try to achieve this with filler and this leads to an overfilled, funny-looking lip. Because the problem is the length (amount of skin) of the white lip, you cannot take care of this with adding volume to the red lip. Questions?
