Today has been a slow, laid-back day here in Vermont! 🍂🤎 We grabbed brunch and went antiquing, but the one place we made it to was a bust. 😕 We still found some beautiful scenery driving down backroads—especially along the creeks! I’m keeping my eyes peeled and hoping to spot a moose soon! 🫎👀

Meanwhile, Mom has been back home grooming dogs and cutting the soap she made yesterday! 🧼 I’ll be sharing a picture of it soon, and I’m so excited to smell it when we get home! 😍

Now we’re headed back to cook some dinner, relax, and enjoy our beautiful view. Sometimes a slow day is just what you need. 🥰

A little Vermont adventure, a beautiful anniversary celebration, and plenty of soap-making magic back home! 🍂🐓

Matthew and I started our day with breakfast at Backcountry Cafe, where I got pumpkin pancakes that were to die for! 🤤🥞 This pumpkin spice girl was in heaven! 🎃

Then we drove up to Stowe, winding our way through Smugglers’ Notch and along quiet back roads framed by breathtaking mountain views. Every turn revealed another postcard-worthy scene—golden leaves, rolling hills, and the kind of peaceful beauty that makes you want to slow down and take it all in. Y’all, I’m completely falling in love with Vermont! 🤎

Today is even more special because Matthew and I are celebrating our one-year anniversary! 🥂🤍 What a beautiful place to mark our first year of marriage, soak in the scenery, and make memories we’ll treasure for years to come.

While we were out exploring, Mom was back home keeping Hen & Chick busy! She whipped up a batch of tallow deodorant and a festive Christmas soap, and I can’t wait to show you what she’s been creating. 🎄🧼
