"When I moved into our location on Asbury Road 10 years ago, Creations Hair Designs was already an established salon. I had outgrown my one-chair shop and was finally able to move into a space I had fallen in love with years before.
Looking back over the last decade, there have been plenty of twists and turns that none of us could have predicted. More than once, I found myself wondering how we would move forward.
But through determination, teamwork, and maybe a few choice words along the way, we pushed through and continued serving our community.
One of the greatest compliments I receive is hearing how friendly and welcoming Creations Hair Designs feels. Creating a place where people feel at home has always been one of my highest priorities. I know that's only possible because of the incredible team of talented women I have the privilege of working with every day. They share the same passion for serving others and creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable and cared for.
The last 10 years have gone by so quickly. I am deeply grateful for every client who has ever sat in one of our chairs, whether it was this past week or 10 years ago. You are all a part of our story and our success.
If you had asked me 10 years ago what today would look like, I never could have imagined something this amazing. I am incredibly thankful for where we are today, and I can’t wait to see what the next 10 years bring.

"I have always known I wanted to be a hairdresser. From practicing on my family as a little girl to eventually becoming a receptionist at the salon, every step led me exactly where I was meant to be. I love helping people see their beauty and feel confident in themselves. After the setbacks from Helene and a semester away from school, I began to question myself but I kept pushing forward when many gave up. Today, I can proudly say that I am living out the dream I’ve had since I was a little girl. When I started here, I told myself I would use my chair as my ministry, and that has become one of my greatest passions. I am surrounded by women who teach me, push me, and believe in me, along with clients who support me every step of the way. As the “new stylist,” I honestly don’t feel new. You have all made me feel like family, and for that I am so grateful. I couldn’t be more thankful for the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Every experience has shaped me into the stylist and person I am today, and I can’t wait to see what God has in store next.❤️"
