A whole decade of doing hair.

Ten years ago, I picked up a pair of shears and a color brush and had no idea they would become the tool that shaped my life.

It is so much more than “just hair” to me. It’s about helping women feel confident, beautiful and empowered. About creating something beautiful with my hands. About conversations that linger long after the appointment ends. That’s where the real satisfaction lays.

This career has given me more than I ever imagined. It has taken me across the country, introduced me to extraordinary people, stretched me creatively, and given me the freedom to build a life that feels deeply aligned with who I am.

Ten years later, I’m still in awe that I get to call this work.

Same woman. Two completely different moods.

One of the biggest myths about creative color is that it’s a forever commitment. It isn’t. I created her rainbow 6 weeks ago, and had her back to natural at her next appointment.

This journey took us only 6 weeks!!!

We went into the rainbow transformation with the understanding that this would be a one time thing and by her next appointment she would like to start going back to natural.

At home, she did not follow proper maintenance for maintaining her rainbow. In fact she was doing things to actively fade it so that we would have a better canvas to work with when her next appointment rolled around.

Even with her doing all the “wrong things” (washing in hot water, using harsh shampoos, frequent washing etc) her fate out was still very pretty!

I was able to get her very close to her natural color during our first session and then we had another session to create a brunette look for her 🤎

This deep emerald transformation was such a pleasure to create. Rich, moody, and full of dimension, but designed to grow out beautifully. The blend stays soft, and the fade will be just as pretty as the fresh color.

My guest came in with months of natural regrowth and a previous permanent color that was nearly black, leaving a harsh line of demarcation. Instead of chasing solid color every few weeks, we took a different approach.

By weaving in soft highlights, we diffused that line, added beautiful dimension, and created a color that will grow out gracefully for months. No harsh roots. No obvious grow-out 🤗

Yesterday we brought a fresh twist on a 90s classic. Her goal was bright vanilla blonde on top with dark contrast on the bottom and tons of feathered soft layers. The result is luminous, lived in blonde with that airy 90’s feel. Designed to move and glow..
