The Artists’ Gallery celebrates its 15th anniversary during First Friday events
Each month artists’ work is celebrated as Featured Artists for a month in a special display near the front of gallery. Their artistic works are featured during First Friday celebration, Aug. 7 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the gallery and to celebrate the 15th anniversary of The Artists’ Gallery.
First Friday guests will create a one-of-a-kind community artwork on a large piece of blank canvas. Guests will paint messages, doodles, drawings, symbols or expressions of gratitude—whatever speaks to their hearts. Together, participants will fill the canvas with thanks, memories and appreciation for the gallery and all that the owner Sammy has done to nurture creativity, connection and community over the past 15 years.
The finished artful canvas will be displayed in the Gallery’s front window until the next First Friday, Sept. 4 when it will be cut into small squares and given back as a keepsake to each guest who contributed.
PLUS…participants could win a free piece of artwork. Guests will get tickets for drawings several times throughout the evening for donated gallery artists’ work including paintings, cards, jewelry, pottery and more. There will be face painting and sparkling hair weaving for kids and adults alike.
Join the organizers from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Aug. 7 to help organizers celebrate its featured artists and 15th anniversary.
Come enjoy the art, Mary Cotner’s music, refreshments and a fun evening.

Here we go again.
You can still come in from the hwy in front of the bowling alley.
In the mean time, we will be closing early (12 pm) while the road is blocked.
They did say this round will only be for a couple of days, so *fingers crossed*

This Fourth of July feels a little different here in our community.
As we celebrate 250 years of America’s independence, I’m reminded that the true spirit of our nation isn’t found in fireworks, it’s found in neighbors helping neighbors, the courage of those who serve, and the strength of a community that comes together during difficult times.
My heart is with everyone affected by the Aspen Acres Fire. I’m praying for the families who have been evacuated, those facing uncertainty, and for the safety and protection of every firefighter, first responder, law enforcement officer, and volunteer working around the clock to defend our homes, our land, and our community.
Thank you to all who are serving, donating, checking on neighbors, and supporting one another. That’s what makes Fremont County so special.
Wishing everyone a safe and meaningful Independence Day. May God continue to watch over our community, and may we soon see the Aspen Acres Fire fully contained.
Happy 4th of July, and God bless America. 🇺🇸❤️
