I was swimming around the poo, laying on a raft, passing through many groups of people and I happen to pass through a fun group and one of the girls said “hey are you a hairstylist” and I was like “umm… yes? Why, do you follow me?” (Me thinking I’m actually famous 🤣) and she’s like “omg no but my best friends makeup artist and hairstylist cancelled last minute, she gets married tomorrow and I’ve been asking everyone”. What are the odds she actually landed on a hairstylist? I told them I would love to do it but am absolutely not prepared, I came with nothing this trip (literally only a crimper & round brush) Thankfully, the salon had decent stuff & I did what I could even though I don’t know how anyone works without a sponge these days 😂

Not that it matters, but I did NOT charge her. I felt like God put us both in the same place at the same time for a reason. I did not come here to work and I sure was not about to make a dollar off a bride who almost had no one to do her hair and just wanted to feel special. She kept telling me I’m gonna get good karma and for that, I just feel so grateful. What a fun experience! Maybe next time I gotta come with all my hair stuff 😂🤷🏻‍♀️
