“This is incredibly hard for me to write, but I am looking to rehome my cat, Ziggy. I am beyond heartbroken and this is TRULY a last resort. Ziggy came to me as a foster and completely stole my heart so I decided to adopt him. However, after months of a slow, intentional introduction to my other cats, they are not able to coexist safely or happily. Keeping him isolated in a separate room isn’t fair to him and the stress is impacting all of us. He deserves better.

🐾Ziggy is a sweet, playful, and unique 2 year old boy.
🐾He is the perfect combination of cuddly & playful.... He even plays fetch sometimes!.
🐾Ziggy loves being around people, looking out windows while chirping at birds, playing with toys, and eating treats.
🐾Ziggy is very social and a lover of people but would do best as the only cat in a home.
🐾Ziggy is neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and has undergone a necessary $3,000 eye surgery to correct entropion (a painful condition where the eyelids turn inward). So all of that is already taken care of!
🐾Ziggy was rescued from a rough life. He came to me emaciated, with a severe upper respiratory infection, a flea infestation that caused major hair loss, and a broken tail that healed crooked (which is how he got his name). He has overcome all of that and is now healthy and thriving-aside from his inability to live with other cats.
✨Because of his past, Ziggy needs to be protected at all costs. I am committed to finding him a safe, loving home. I will require that he be kept indoors, never be declawed, and receive regular veterinary care.
✨I will require proof of an initial vet visit, agreement to the
above care requirements, and a small adoption fee to ensure he goes to a safe home.
✨I will provide his first month of food & litter, his favorite
toys, water fountain, automatic pet feeder, cat tower, and food bowls.
✨ I will also take him back at any time, if things don’t work
out.
✨I am willing to split the cost of any future entropion-related(highly unlikely)”
