my beautiful new client not only got Huda’s dream date, but she left with the most blendy caramel balayage 😮‍💨

If you’ve ever sat in my chair, you probably already know I’m a chronic over-foiler 😂 So naturally, getting to take someone blonde AF in one sitting is one of my absolute favorite kinds of appointments!

That being said—this kind of transformation isn’t always possible for everyone, and I wanted to share a few things that made it doable this time:

✨ My beautiful client was willing to hang out in the chair with me for 6+ hours
💸 While I always do my best to work within a budget, appointments like this tend to add up quickly
🌿 Her hair was virgin, aside from the light ends, so no old color or banding to fight through
🧬 She invested in K18 (a game-changer!) to protect her hair during and after the service—and said goodbye to her dead ends to help maintain integrity
🤍 Most importantly—she trusted the process!

Every head of hair is different, and this isn’t the only way to go blonde in one session, but these factors definitely helped make the day smoother for both of us 💕

My favorite part of using a technique in the balayage family is how customizable it can be! Lightener is placed strategically to provide your desired amount of brightness & depth which will leave you with a seamless grow out that you can get touched up when you see fit! I have some clients that come in a couple times a year & some that come in every couple months to bring up their blonde! I do recommend a toner refresh & a trim every 6-8 to keep your color looking fresh and your hair healthy & happy 💛
