NEW AT HEALTHY SKIN SPA

The Sungboon Editor Deep Collagen Power Boosting Mask has officially arrived.

This hydrogel mask is packed with hydrating and barrier-supportive ingredients including low molecular collagen, niacinamide, panthenol, ceramides, peptides, and multiple forms of hyaluronic acid.

What can you expect?
• Deep hydration
• Skin that looks smoother and more refreshed
• A healthy, radiant glow
• Temporary plumping from increased hydration

I especially love this mask before special events, vacations, photos, weddings, or anytime your skin feels dry, dull, or depleted.

While this mask is well tolerated by many skin types, it may not be the best choice for those with a highly reactive or compromised skin barrier due to the inclusion of botanical extracts. If that’s you, I can help you choose a better option.

Healthy Skin Club and Healthy Skin Club Elevated members will receive a complimentary mask at their next appointment while supplies last.

Available now in the spa.

One area people tend to forget about until later is the neck and chest. The skin there is thinner, more delicate, and often one of the first places to show dehydration, creasing, and loss of firmness.

The Firm Believer Goji Stem Cell + Pomegranate Smoothing Neck + Face Cream is one of those moisturizers that feels deeply nourishing without feeling heavy or suffocating on the skin.

What I love most about this formula is that it focuses on supporting the skin long term with ingredients like:
• Goji stem cells to support firmness and elasticity
• Pomegranate extract for antioxidant support
• Edelweiss extract to help soften the appearance of fine lines
• Squalane and rich hydrators to support a healthy skin barrier

This is such a beautiful option for clients starting to notice:
• crepey texture
• dehydration
• loss of firmness
• fine lines on the neck and chest
• dry, mature, or stressed skin

I also love that it can be used on both the face and neck because so many people stop their skincare at the jawline. Your neck deserves skincare too.

Use morning and night as your moisturizer step and take the extra 30 seconds to massage downward tension out of the neck and upward into the skin while applying. Small consistent habits truly make the biggest difference over time. (threeshipsbeauty.com)

Healthy Skin Club also makes booking easier.

Members receive priority access to appointments, including Saturdays, which tend to fill quickly.

Your time is already set aside, and your skincare becomes something you don’t have to constantly rearrange your schedule for.

Along with your monthly facial, LED, lymphatic drainage, and product savings, this is one of those benefits that makes everything feel more seamless.

Healthy Skin Club isn’t just about what happens in the treatment room.

It’s also about what happens in between.

Members receive savings on products so you can maintain your results at home, along with guidance on what to use and when to use it.

Instead of buying random products and hoping they work, you have a plan that supports what we’re doing during your facials.

That combination of in-spa treatments and at-home care is where real progress happens.

One of the reasons acne can feel frustrating is because “acne” is actually a broad category with many different presentations.

Some clients are dealing mostly with congestion and closed comedones, while others experience inflamed breakouts, hormonal acne, or deeper cystic lesions.

Different acne types may require different approaches, which is why copying random skincare routines online often leads to more irritation instead of improvement.

A few common acne types include:
• Blackheads
• Closed comedones
• Papules and pustules
• Hormonal acne
• Cystic acne

Many people also experience multiple forms at once.

This is why personalized skincare guidance matters so much. Healthy acne treatment is not about attacking the skin aggressively. It’s about understanding what the skin needs and supporting it appropriately.

Not all acne is the same, which is why not all acne should be treated the same way.

Understanding the type of breakout you’re experiencing can help guide better skincare choices and prevent unnecessary irritation.

Some common acne types:
• Closed comedones (small flesh-colored bumps/congestion)
• Blackheads
• Inflamed papules and pustules
• Hormonal acne
• Cystic acne

Different acne types often require different approaches, and sometimes multiple forms can exist simultaneously.

One of the biggest mistakes I see is treating every breakout aggressively instead of understanding what the skin is actually communicating.

Acne-prone skin still deserves support, hydration, and barrier protection.

There is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing skin.

If your skin feels congested, dull, rough, or like nothing is fully cleansing it lately… this is the cleanser I keep reaching for.

The Refresh Papaya + Salicylic Acid Foaming Cleanser gives that fresh, clean feeling without making your skin feel stripped or tight afterward.

Papaya enzymes help gently dissolve buildup and dead skin while salicylic acid works deeper into the pores to support congestion, breakouts, excess oil, and texture.

I especially love this for:
• congestion around the nose and chin
• oily or combination skin
• acne prone skin
• post workout buildup
• dull, rough texture

That being said, because this cleanser contains salicylic acid, I typically do not recommend using it as your only cleanser. Most skin types do best rotating this in a few times a week while also having a more gentle, barrier supportive cleanser on hand for daily use.

Overusing active cleansers can sometimes leave skin feeling dehydrated, irritated, or overly stripped, especially if you are also using exfoliants, retinol, acne treatments, or spending more time in the sun during summer.

Healthy skin is about balance. Sometimes your skin needs a deep reset and sometimes it needs calm, supportive care. Knowing when to use both makes a huge difference.
