I've had my hands wrapped up in hair ever since I can remember. My passion was evident at an early age as all of my dolls shared one thing in common: The "bob" haircut. When everyone else was playing house, I was asking, "One pump of shampoo or two?"

I love to be creative in all different mediums, however I've always gravitated first towards hair. I have more than 13 years of experience as a cosmetologist and graduated in 2008 from Douglas J Aveda Institute, Ann Arbor. Shortly after graduation, I pursued my educator's license through the State of Michigan and taught at Aveda for three years. I've mastered the fundamentals and technical foundations of haircutting, color and texturing services, as well as men's hair design. I spent the last five years working as a lead stylist at an upscale spa in Plymouth, Michigan. Now I'm ready to take my career to the next level. I decided to open Untangled Studio to give myself the opportunity of ownership and to perfect my skills in my own environment. I love my career and I can't tell you enough how extremely gratifying it is to know I'm responsible for making someone feel better about themselves when they leave my chair. And I look forward to sharing this experience with you.
