Good afternoon. I have felt compelled to post about Covid related hair loss.

This is a very real issue I have seen and it happens a few months after you’ve gotten over Covid which can be very confusing to the person as they are trying to find the reason for their sudden loss of hair. Up to 1/3 of the hair can be lost and seems to mostly focus on the front and sides of the hair. 

Covid doesn’t necessarily caused the hair loss but the loss of oxygenation to the hair follicle, fever, and general stress done to the body can cause hair loss in some people and last up to 4 months.

I always recommend biotin but if you come down with Covid I highly recommend starting a B complex vitamin along with biotin supplements immediately. Start right away so that way if hair loss does become an issue for you it may not be as severe. 

I am now using Square Scheduling for all my appointments. From now on you’ll be getting automated appointment reminders you can confirm on. I will not be allowing online booking, please continue to go through me for that. Sorry everyone for the mishap with scheduling! I think I have everyone all set!

As a one man business owner working from home I'd like to address the current Corona virus Pandemic.

Rest assured I am taking extra measures to make sure my work space is sanitized properly. I understand the worry everyone faces as I worry about them too. However if you are sick, please feel free to message me so we can reschedule your appointment. If under any circumstances I get sick, I will inform you via text or messenger.

I think social avoidance at this juncture is paramount to making sure this virus runs it's course with as little harm as possible. I am grateful at times like this that I am a one man business. Your safety and health (not to mention your hair's integrity) during your appointments is always my #1 concern.
