On Saturday afternoon, June 28th, I closed the door for the last time on Emerald and Iris (for now.)😏

These past 5 years of suite ownership has been a wild, wonderful and beautiful time. Most of you know that in August, it will be 2 years since we moved our family up to the city of Davison—about 20 minutes past Flint. I had still been making that commute consistently and faithfully, but it has just become too much. When I was hit by someone making a really bad decision behind the wheel back in the beginning of March and totaled my car why on my way home, I took that as a sign that it’s time to put down the comb for the time being.

To every single person who has supported my business over the last 5 years, or been in my chair over the last 14 years, thank you!!! Your kindness, caring, and most of all your loyalty has been mindblowing to experience. I will never forget you. Thank you for lighting up my life just as much as I have contributed to yours. It’s been a privilege to make you feel your best.

It’s not goodbye, it’s see you around.🤍
